With the UHF remote base linking capabilities of the new repeater system, the Atlanta Radio Club now frequently participates in the following linked repeater nets:Atlanta Radio Club Sunday Night net - As usual, the ARC's sunday night net is held every Sunday at 8:00PM eastern time. Provides a forum for announcements, swap shop postings, and general discussion of amateur radio. The 2 meter and 440 repeaters are typically linked for this net. SKYWARN Linked Repeater System - This link is brought up whenever there is severe weather in the area. For the month of February, a net is held every Sunday starting at 4:30PM eastern time. Check-ins will be passed to the HF SKYWARN/ARES net held at 5:00PM. Net control is operated under the call sign WX4PTC, National Weather Service Peachtree City. South Eastern VHF Linked Net - Held every Wednesday at 9:00PM eastern time. Check-ins from all over the south east are routinely heard. North Georgia Disaster Relief Net - Every Thursday at 9:00PM eastern time.
