W4DOC, The Atlanta Radio Club

Location:  We meet the first Thursday of every month at the Georgia Red Cross Headquarters at 1955 Monroe Drive in Atlanta.  We usually meet at the Picadilly at around 6:15 for dinner in Ansley Mall.  We move to the Red Cross facility and start at 7:00 PM with demonstrations and ask the experts at 7:30 PM we begin the formal meeting.  Talk-in is on 146.82 (PL 146.2 Hz).   Past meeting programs can be viewed by clicking here.

Other Club Activities:

Sunday Night Net: All amateurs are invited to check into the Sunday Night Net at 8:00 PM on the 146.82 repeater. This net features comments from all check-ins, club news from club officers and committee chairpersons, a swap shop, and a discussion topic, if requested.  224.34 and 444.825 are normally linked in as well for the Sunday Night Net.

Field Day: The Atlanta Radio Club operates a station on Field Day, the last full weekend of June.

Repeaters: The Atlanta Radio Club operates five repeaters.  We would love your help with this ongoing project!
